Ministry Happens Wherever People Gather
For us, ministry has never fit neatly into a building, a program, or a weekly schedule. It happens wherever people are willing to slow down, share honestly, and make room for God and one another.
Some days, that happens at Prayer Mountain—a quiet place set apart for prayer, rest, teaching, and meaningful time together.Other days, it happens around our dinner table, over coffee, in a restaurant, or in someone else’s home. It happens through planned gatherings and unexpected conversations. Sometimes we spend time with a group; sometimes we sit with one person who simply needs to talk.
The location may change, but the heart remains the same: to create space where people feel welcomed, heard, encouraged, and reminded that they do not have to walk alone.
Prayer Mountain
About two days each week, Prayer Mountain gives us a place to step away from the pace and distractions of everyday life.
We welcome missionaries, pastors, ministry leaders, teams, families, and friends to gather, pray, learn, rest, and spend unhurried time together. Some gatherings are planned around a particular purpose. Others simply create room for people to breathe, listen to God, and reconnect with one another.
The setting is beautiful, but the place itself is not the ministry. The ministry is what happens there—in honest conversations, shared meals, times of prayer, moments of laughter, and the relationships that continue long after everyone has gone home.
In the Ordinary Places
The rest of our week rarely follows a predictable pattern.
Our home is often full of people sharing meals, telling stories, asking questions, and finding a place to belong. Other conversations happen over coffee, in restaurants, during a walk, or in the homes of the people we care about.
These ordinary settings are where much of our ministry takes shape. They allow relationships to grow naturally—not through a program, but through the steady practice of showing up, listening well, praying together, and walking through life side by side.
